“To Respondent Mother LAURA ORTEGA “STATE OF TEXAS “You have been sued. You may employ an attorney. If you or your attorney do (does) not file a written answer with the clerk who issued this citation by 10 a.m. on the Monday next following the expiration of 20 days after you were served this citation and petition, a default judgment may be taken against you. The petition of the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, Petitioner, was filed in the 106th Judicial District Court of Gaines County, Texas, on February 24, 2020, against LAURA ORTEGA, Respondent, numbered 20-02-18331, and entitled “in the interest of PERLA ORTEGA aka PERLA GARCIA and ALEJANDRO JOSE GARCIA, Children.” The suit requests termination of the parent-child relationship. The date and place of birth of the children whom are the subjects of the suit: PERLA ORTEGA aka PERLA GARCIA, child born February 19, 2003 and ALEJANDRO JOSE GARCIA, child born October 10, .2011. “The court has authority in this suit to render an order in the children’s interest that will be binding on you, including the termination of the parent-child relationship, the determination of paternity, and the appointment of a conservator with authority to consent to the children’s adoption.
