TO: SANTIAGO DIAZ, the Adjudicated Father of the subject child, Melissa Diaz-Pesina, and to all whom it may concern, Respondents; GREETINGS: YOU HAVE BEEN SUED. You may employ an attorney. If you or your attorney do not file a written answer with the clerk who issued this citation by 10:00 a.m. on the Monday next following the expiration of twenty days after you were served this citation and petition, a default judgment may be taken against you. YOU ARE HEREBY COMMANDED to appear and answer before the Honorable District Court, 353rd Judicial District, Travis County, Texas, at the Courthouse of said County in Austin, Texas, at or before 10 o'clock a.m. of the Monday next after expiration of twenty days from the date of service of this citation, then and there to answer the Original Petition in Suit Affecting the Parent Child-Relationship and Motion to Modify-Non-TERM. filed in said Court on the 19th day of July, 2019 and the Affidavit of the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, Petitioner, filed in said Court on the 19th day of July, 2019, against the Adjudicated Father, SANTIAGO DIAZ, and said suit being number D-1-FM-19-004837, on the docket of said Court, and entitled "In the Interest of Melissa Diaz-Pesina and Meranda Nicole Pesina, Children," the nature of which suit is a request to terminate the parent-child relationship and/or name the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services or a suitable, competent adult recommended by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, or an authorized agency recommended by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services as Managing Conservator of the child, whose name, date and place of birth are as follows: Melissa Diaz-Pesina Date of Birth: November 1, 2003 Place of Birth: Austin, Travis County, Texas The Court has authority in this suit to enter any judgment or decree in the Child's interest, which will be binding upon you, including the termination of the parent-child relationship, the determination of paternity and the appointment of a managing conservator with the authority to consent to the Child's adoption.
