Monday, the 1ST day of FEBRUARY 2021, being the Monday next after the expiration date of forty-two days after this citation is issued, and you are hereby commanded and required then and there to appear and file written answer to the Plaintiffs Original Petition and Request for Rule 194 Disclosures, filed in said Court on the OCTOBER 4, 2019, in a suit numbered 2019-72947 docket of said court, wherein CARLA MARIA RIVAS, ANA ROSALES, AND NICOLE CAMPOS, the Plaintiffs, and ALICIA NICOLE GRISSOM, the Defendant, the nature of plaintiff’s demand and the said petition alleging: Motor Vehicle Accident SUMMARY This lawsuit arises from a traffic collision that occurred on or about October 6, 2017, Carla Maria Rivas was a driving a 2005 Grey Toyota Camry which was traveling southwest bound at the corner of 5200 Bissonnet Street and 5200 Bellaire Blvd, Bellaire, Harris County, Texas. Defendant, Alicia Nicole Grissom, was driving a 2005 Grey Nissan Altima, which was traveling southwest bound on the same street as plaintiffs when she failed to failed to control her speed, causing the collision. As a result of the collision, Plaintiffs sustained serious personal bodily injuries. Defendant is liable for her negligence in failing to act as reasonable and prudent driver. Plaintiff’s injuries and damages were a result of Defendant’s negligence. Notice hereof shall be given by publishing this Citation once a week for four consecutive weeks previous to the day of FEBRUARY 1ST, 2021, in some newspaper published in the County of Harris, if there be a newspaper published therein, but if not, then the nearest county where a newspaper is published, and this Citation shall be returned on the 29TH day of JANUARY, 2021, which is forty two days after the date it is issued, and the first publication shall be at least twenty-eight days before said return day. HEREIN FAIL NOT, but have before said court on said return day this Writ with your return thereon, showing how you have executed same.
