Norman and Richard Derbyshire along with their Unknown Heirs, Devisees, Personal Representatives, Executors, Administrators, and Successors in and to the Interest of Said Defendants, Greeting: You are hereby commanded to appear by filing a written answer to the Plaintiff’s Original Petition at or before 10:00 o’clock A.M. on the Monday next after the expiration of 42 days after the date of issuance of this citation the same being Monday 1st day of March 2021 before the Honorable 75TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT of Liberty County, at the Courthouse in said County in Liberty, Texas. Said Plaintiff’s Petition was filed in said court on the 23rd day of December, 2020 in this case numbered CV2016596 on the docket of said court, and styled Smith Oil Company, Inc. Plaintiff vs. Donna Norman, et al Defendant. The names of the parties to the cause are as follow: Smith Oil Company, Inc is Plaintiff and Donna Norman, Life Estate; Eric A. Norman, Individually and as Remainderman; Jonathan Norman, Individually and as Remainderman; Larry Norman; Linnea Ann Hansen-Kuhnhausen; William Norman, Dealing with his Sole and Separate Property, George Irving Norman, III, Individually and as Remainderman of the Life Estate of Donna Norman, Andrew M. Norman and Richard Derbyshire along with their Unknown Heirs, devisees, Personal Representatives, Executors, Administrators, and Successors are Defendants. A brief statement of the nature of this suit is as follows, to wit: * Plaintiff prays the Court that a Receiver by appointed under the provisions of the Texas Civil Practice & Remedies Code, and that the Receiver by authorized and ordered to execute an oil and gas lease or leases covering and including the mineral interest of Defendants for exploration, development and production purposes, and including the authority to pool and unitize the interest covered in accordance with the statute, naming Plaintiff as Lessee, and thereby protecting Plaintiff against loss of production, costs and expenses and contingent liabilities to the owner of such unleased mineral interest, and that the Receivership continue as long as the Defendants, or their heirs, successors or assigns, or personal representatives fail to appear, either in person or by agent or attorney, in such Court to claim the interest of the Defendants in the ownership of the minerals dealt with in this action as is more fully shown by Plaintiff’s Petition on file in this suit. The officer executing this writ shall promptly serve the same according to requirements of law, and the mandates thereof, and make due return as the law directs.
