You may employ an attorney. If you or your attorney does not file a written answer with the clerk who issued this citation by 10:00 a.m. on the Monday next following the expiration of twenty days after you were served this citation and amended petition, a default judgment may be taken against you.” Greetings: You are hereby commanded to appear by filing a written answer in the 417th District Court, Collin County, Texas at the courthouse of said county in McKinney, Texas, at or before 10:00 o’clock a.m. of the Monday next after the expiration of 20 days from the date of service of this citation then and there to answer the amended petition of the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, Petitioner, filed in the Court of Collin County, Texas on the 16th day of June, 2020, against Brandon Harris, Respondent, and suit being numbered 417-30026-2019 on the docket of said court, and styled “In the Interest of: Miracle Rowley” , the nature of which suit is First Amended Petition in Intervention in Suit Affecting the Parent-Child Relationship. Said Child(ren): Miracle Rowley born February 15, 2019 in Dallas County Texas. The court has Authority in this suit to enter any judgment or decree in the child interest which will be binding upon you, including the termination of the parent-child relationship and the appointment of a conservator with authority to consent to the child/children adoption.
