GREETINGS: YOU ARE HEREBY COMMANDED to appear before the 110TH DISTRICT COURT OF DICKENS COUNTY, TEXAS at the Courthouse at DICKENS, Texas, by filing a written answer with the said Court at or before 10:00 o’clock A.M. on the Monday next after the expiration of Twenty (20) days from the date of service of this citation, then and there to answer the First Amended petition of the Plaintiffs: CITY OF DICKENS, CITY OF SPUR, DICKENS COUNTY, PATTON SPRINGS INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT and SPUR INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT as set out in the copy of said First Amended petition filed on the 27th day of May ,2020 against GREGORY J DUES defendants, said suit being numbered above on the docket of said Court, the nature of which demand is a suit to collect ad valorem taxes on the property, to wit: The property is specifically described as follows: Property Code: 200-0069-0001-000000 TRACT #1: Lots One (1) and Two (2) in Block Sixty-nine (69) of the Original this suit was filed, but all taxes which become delinquent thereon at any time thereafter, up to the day of judgment, including all interest, penalties and costs allowed by law thereon, may, upon request therefore, be recovered herein without further citation or notice to any parties herein, and all said parties shall take notice of and plead and answer to all claims and pleadings which may hereafter be filed in this cause by all other parties hereto and by all of those taxing units above named, who may intervene herein and set up their respective tax claims against said property. If this citation is not served within 90 days after its issuance, it shall be returned unserved. The officer executing this citation shall promptly serve the same according to the requirements of law and mandates thereof and make due return as the law directs. Should court costs remain unpaid sixty (60) days after judgment or payment of all taxes due, a collection penalty of thirty percent (30%) will be added to said amounts pursuant to Section 140.009 of the Texas Local Government Code.
