THE STATE OF TEXAS To any Sheriff or any Constable within the State of Texas-----GREETING: YOU ARE HEREBY COMMANDED to cause to be published, ONCE, not less than ten days before the return day thereof, exclusive of the date of publication, in a newspaper of general circulation printed and/or published in McLennan County, Texas, the accompanying citation, of which the herein below is a true copy. __________________________________________________________________________________________ CITATION BY PUBLICATION THE STATE OF TEXAS TO ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN THE ESTATE of THOMAS HANSON LEET, deceased; TO ANY UNKNOWN HEIRS of THOMAS HANSON LEET, deceased; TO ANY NON-RESIDENT HEIRS of THOMAS HANSON LEET, deceased; and TO ANY HEIRS of THOMAS HANSON LEET, deceased, WITHOUT THE STATE OF TEXAS. No. 20200482PR1 County Court of McLennan County, Texas On the 1st day of October, 2020, Reggie L. Blake (“Applicant”) file and Application for the Determination of Heirship and furnished the following information to the Court for the Administration of the Estate of Thomas Hanson Leet (“Decedent”): Applicant is an individual interested in this Estate who may be served at 1301 Dendron Drive, Hewitt, Texas 76643. Decedent died August 30, 2020, in McLennan County, Texas, at the age of 72 years. This Court has jurisdiction and venue because Decedent was domiciled and had a fixed place of residence in this county on the date of his death. At the time of death, Decedent owned and possessed real and personal property of a probable value in excess of $50,000.00. Decedent was divorced at the time of his death from Rose Marie Leet, who is now deceased. Decedent was not married at the time of his death. Decedent and Rose Marie Leet had one child, whose name is David Leet. This is the only child born to or adopted by Decedent during his lifetime. To Applicant’s best knowledge, Decedent died intestate. The names and physical addresses where service can be had of all Decedent’s heirs, the relationship of each heir to Decedent, whether each heir is an adult or minor, and the true interest of Applicant and of each of the heirs in the Estate of the Decedent are as follows: David Leet, Waco, Texas 76711, Adult son of Decedent, 100% of the Estate. It is necessary and in the best interest of the Estate for the Court to determine who are the heirs and only heirs of the Decedent. The Application does not omit any information required by Estates Code 202.005. Applicant has prosecuted this proceeding in good faith, and with just cause, for the purpose of having Decedent’s heirship determined and opening an administration on Decedent’s Estate. Applicant prays that citation issue as required by law; that upon hearing hereof, this Court determine who are the heirs and only heirs of Decedent and their respective shares and interests in this Estate; that the Court appoint an attorney ad-litem to represent the interests of the Decedent’s unknown heirs; that appraisers not be appointed; and that all other others be entered as the Court may deem proper. Said Application will be heard and acted on by said Court at 10:00 a.m. on the first Monday next after the expiration of ten days from date of publishing this citation, the same being the 10/26/2020 at the Courthouse thereof in Waco, McLennan County, Texas, at which time and place all persons interested in this Application for the Determination of Heirship, are hereby cited and required to appear by filing a written answer and contest to said application.
