No. 20200512PR1 County Court of McLennan County, Texas On the 20th day of October, 2020, James R. Ray, Jr., (“Applicant”) filed an Application To Determine Heirship furnishing the following information to the Court: Roy Mack Hill, (“Decedent”) died on October 15, 2020, in Waco, McLennan County, Texas. The Applicant, domiciled in and residing in Waco, McLennan County, Texas, is an individual interested in the Estate and has applied to be appointed Independent Administrator of the Estate. The Applicant is a longtime friend of the Decedent. An Application for Independent Administration is pending upon Decedent’s Estate. It is necessary and in the best interest of the Estate for the Court to determine who are the heirs and only heirs of the Decedent. The name, age, marital status, and address of each of the Decedent’s heirs, the relationship of each heir to Decedent, and the true interest of the heir in the Estate of the Decedent are as follows: Sarah Elizabeth Arredondo, from Houston, Texas, an Adult, Single Daughter, over 21 years of age, True Interest: one-third interest in Estate of Decedent; Julia Ann Wiley, from Waco, Texas, an Adult, Single Daughter, over 21 years of age, True Interest: one-third interest in Estate of Decedent; Katherine Paige Hill, from Dallas, Texas, an Adult, Single Granddaughter whose mother, Mary Alison Hill, preceded Decedent in death on June 29, 2007, True Interest: one-third interest in Estate of Decedent. At the time of death, Decedent owned property described generally as real estate, an automobile, cash, personal effects, and household goods, all of probable value of less than $100,000.00. All children born to or adopted by Decedent are Sarah Elizabeth Arredondo, Julia Ann Wiley, and Mary Alison Hill, as noted Mary Alison Hill died on June, 2007. Katherine Paige Hill was the only child born to or adopted by Mary Alison Hill. Decedent was married once. In the 1970s he was married to Susan Hill, who was the mother of Sarah Elizabeth Arredondo, Julia Ann Wiley, and Mary Alison Hill. He was divorced from Susan Hill in 1990 in Waco, McLennan County, Texas. To the best of the Applicant’s knowledge, Decedent died intestate. The Application states that it does not omit any information required by the Texas Estates Code 202.005. Debts that are not secured by liens upon real estate are owed by the Decedent, and there is a necessity for an administration of the Estate. The Application contains all of the material facts and circumstances within the knowledge and information of the Applicant that might reasonably tend to show the time or place of death or the names or residences of all heirs, if the time or place of death or the names or residences of all the heirs are not definitely known to the Applicant. The Applicant prays that citation issue as required by law; that upon hearing hereof, the Court determine who are the heirs and only heirs of Decedent and their respective shares and interests in the Estate and find that a necessity exists for an administration of Decedent’s Estate. Said Application will be heard and acted on by said Court at 10:00 a.m. on the first Monday next after the expiration of ten days from date of publishing this citation, the same being, 11/16/2020, at the Courthouse thereof in Waco, McLennan County, Texas, at which time and place all persons interested in this Application to Determine Heirship, are hereby cited and required to appear by filing a written answer and contest to said application. THE OFFICER EXECUTING THIS WRIT SHALL PROMPTLY SERVE AND MAKE DUE RETURN. GIVEN UNDER MY HAND AND SEAL OF SAID COURT at the office in Waco, McLennan County, Texas, this the 20th day of October, 2020.
