No. 20200647PR1 County Court of McLennan County, Texas On the 23rd day of December, 2020, Laura Lee DeLeon, (Applicant) filed an Application To Determine Heirship, furnishing the following information to the Court concerning the Estate of Jessie Felan DeLeon, (Deceased): The Applicant is domiciled in Robinson, McLennan County, Texas, and is the daughter of the Decedent. Applicant is an individual interested in this Estate. Decedent died intestate on November 22, 2020, in the City of Waco, McLennan County, Texas, at the age of 64 years. Decedent resided in the City of Robinson, McLennan County, Texas. This Court has jurisdiction over this matter under Texas Estates Code Section 32.002. This Court has venue on this matter under Texas Estates Code Section 33.001 because the Decedent resided in McLennan County, Texas. An administration is pending on Decedent’s Estate and it is necessary and in the best interest of the Estate for the Court to determine who are the heirs and the only heirs of the Decedent. The Decedent was married only once. That marriage was to Linda Riggins DeLeon, and she predeceased him on November 17, 2020. No other marriage was dissolved by the Decedent. Two children were born to or adopted by the Decedent: Laura Lee DeLeon and Rodney Jay DeLeon. The name, address, relationship, and age of each heir to Decedent are as follows: Tony DeLeon, Sr., Deceased, Father; Frances Felan DeLeon of Lorena, Texas, Single, Adult Mother; Laura Riggins DeLeon, Deceased, Spouse; Laura Lee DeLeon of Robinson, Texas, Adult Daughter, Interest: 50%; Rodney Jay DeLeon, of Robinson, Texas, Married, Adult Son, Interest: 50%. It is necessary and in the best interest of the Estate for the Court to determine who are the heirs of the Decedent. Applicant prays that Citation issue as required by Law; that upon hearing hereof, the Court determine who are the heirs and only heirs of the Decedent and their respective shares and interests in this Estate; and that all other Orders be entered as the Court may deem necessary and proper. Said Application will be heard and acted on by said Court at 10:00 a.m. on the first Monday next after the expiration of ten days from date of publishing this citation, the same being the 01/18/2021 at the Courthouse thereof in Waco, McLennan County, Texas, at which time and place all persons interested in this Application to Determine Heirship, are hereby cited and required to appear by filing a written answer and contest to said application.
